Enslaved by the Wolves Page 12

There was a sharp whistle as the whip sang through the air. Miriam flinched, gasping instinctively. The whip hit the floor and she swallowed dryly. She turned to see what Lucas was doing, but Kristoff caught hold of her face and forced her to stare at him. Her eyes were wide even as excitement coursed through her. Had she gone too far with the pegging comment?

But Kristoff was smiling at her, a twinkle in his eye as he ran the vibrator up her thigh. It felt so good she leaned against her ropes, trying to get closer to him. He released her chin and took hold of her shoulder, supporting her somewhat.

“The only ass fucking that happens around here is me in yours, not the other way around,” he said in such an authoritative voice that all Miriam could do was nod meekly.

The whip smacked into the ground again, making her flinch.

Lucas stepped up behind her, tracing a light pattern on her bare skin. “It’s not too late. Apologize and I’ll spare you the whipping.”

“But I’m not sorry,” Miriam shot back at once.

Kristoff kissed her as he pressed the vibrator to her clit. She was still dry, the friction of the silicone against her skin a shallower vibration than when they used lubrication on her. Even so, the shivers moved down her thighs, clenching her belly—then the whip struck across her back, sending a shock of pain through her. Her eyes widened and she let out a surprised yelp.

  “Apologize,” Lucas ordered.

But she wasn’t going to stop them now! The whip stung every time it landed, but the pain only made the pleasure building in her core all the more intense. Soon her moans were punctuated with soft yelps. Her legs became unable to hold her, and her head dropped to Kristoff’s shoulder.

“Sorry,” she gasped when she couldn’t take it anymore. “I’m sorry, Master.”

Lucas dropped the whip at once and rushed to her. He kissed her fiercely as Kristoff tossed aside the vibrator and all but tore off his clothes. The scent of the peach lubricant filled the air as he circled her. Her back and ass throbbed with the whipping, but it was the kind of pain that made it feel all the better when Kristoff started to lube up her ass.

“You’re going to be a good slave now, aren’t you?” Lucas whispered in her ear

  Miriam nodded.

“Good, because I don’t like punishing you.”

Kristoff cut her wrists free and started to bend her over, but Miriam pushed back, telling him to wait. She bit her lip as she looked into Lucas’ eyes. “You didn’t like that? Whipping me, I mean? I liked it…”

Lucas stroked her hair from her face. “I liked whipping you and I like the game we’re playing,” he assured her. “That was just part of the game. Master’s a bit of a manipulative bastard.”

Her shoulders relaxed and she wrapped her arms around his neck, kissing him deeply to show him that she was okay, too. Kristoff rubbed himself against her ass, hard already but patiently waiting until they were ready to resume the game. Soon enough, Miriam was on her hands and knees, with Lucas in front of her and Kristoff behind her. His cock slid easily into her ass with all the lubrication he’d used, but he took her so slowly it drove her crazy.

“What do you say to Master?” Kristoff said.

“Fuck me,” she replied, whimpering with need. Lucas’s hands teased over her. “Fuck me please.”

“Aw, why do you want Master Kristoff to fuck you and not Master Lucas?” Kristoff began thrusting gently.

Lucas let out a strangled snarl. “Lift her up and I’ll fuck her at the same time. Do you want that, slave? Do you want both your masters to stuff you so full it hurts?”

Miriam honestly couldn’t think of anything better. And not just because of the lust that rose through her. Not just because she loved the way her wolves dominated her when they were like this. Not just because it was new and exciting and had so many possibilities to explore.

No. As Lucas entered her, him and Kristoff filling her up to the point where she thought she might split in two just as he said, she loved their warmth. Loved the pleasure they gave her so freely. Both of them took turns working her clit as they thrust, building and alternating pattern that had her teeth clamping down on Lucas’ shoulder within only a few minutes. She was so safe in their arms. Even when they hurt her, it wasn’t a cruel pain. They made sure she was enjoying herself. If she asked them to stop, then they did.

Love swept through her at the same time as her first orgasm. As her muscles shivered and fluttered and her body fell into the writhing ecstasy, she knew that her happiness had just begun. For so long she thought she was somehow lesser, not as good. Because of how she was treated, because of things she couldn’t control.

But as first Kristoff and then Lucas found their fulfillment in her, she knew it wasn’t true. There was nothing lesser or inferior about her.

After they were done, Lucas iced her whip marks and Kristoff cleaned her up, giving her gentle kisses and murmuring how beautiful she was. The three of them moved to the shower and then the bed, where they made love more gently several times before they lay together. Miriam held their hands tightly in her own, smiling up at the ceiling as relaxation washed over her, the pleasant ache of her skin and bones making it all the more enjoyable.

  “Thank you,” she murmured.

  “For what?” Lucas asked.

“You made me a stronger person.”

Kristoff pressed a kiss to her temple. “You were always strong, Miriam, and I love you for it. Maybe we helped you see how strong you are, but we didn’t make you strong. I’m just glad that I can see you be happy now.”

“Agreed,” Lucas sighed as he pressed closer. “Promise us that, Miriam, my love. No matter what happens, we will always be happy together.”

Miriam couldn’t help but laugh in a mix of amusement and giddiness. “Okay,” she agreed, clasping their hands tighter. “I promise… and I love you. So much.”

  Epilogue

Dusk was falling while the full moon already shone in the sky. Kristoff gazed up at the silvery orb, a grin on his face as his wolf pranced about in excitement. It was time for the monthly pack hunt, where they followed Sly and Devon through a series of tests that pushed them to the limit. Their alpha and his second-in-command had picked these hunts up only within the last year, at Chloe’s suggestion. They were more than fun; they made the group feel like a real pack.

Tyler sidled up to him and socked him on the arm. Kristoff glared at him. “Can I help you?”

“Just that it’s not usual to see you grinning like an idiot when we have pack activities like this. As I recall, Lucas and I had to drag you here and you were very unwilling to participate.” He nodded across the clearing of Sly’s cabin to where Miriam was telling Ian and Theron where to put a table for the midnight feast that they’d have once the wolves came back from their run. “I take it that she’s part of the reason why you’ve been coming out to these things more often?”

Kristoff followed his gaze. Behind Miriam, the three boys were gathered around Sly, Devon and Chloe’s foster son, Brian. His grin widened. “Her and them. I don’t want the boys to end up isolationists like me.”

Tyler hummed. “Never thought I’d see the day when you were happy suddenly living with five other people.”

Kristoff shrugged. “Not gonna lie, it’s been rough sometimes. But there is something about loving those five people that makes it easier—not to mention letting myself form attachments. It’s easier to be around people when you’re open to letting yourself like them.”

“Okay.” Tyler laughed and socked his shoulder again. “Look, I’m happy for you. Really, I am.”

“Thanks,” Kristoff mumbled, flushing slightly. He shrugged, then frowned when he saw Roman and Omar slinking up the driveway. It’d been a while since he’d seen them in one of these situations.

Kristoff understood why Sly was mad at them. They had disobeyed his orders and in doing so, had put members of the pack at risk. Despite Chloe’s attempts to intervene on behalf of Omar and Roman, they had b
een more or less ostracized. They were still considered members of the pack, but their privileges had been stripped from them.

Kristoff would probably have been a lot angrier with them himself if he wasn’t learning a thing or two about understanding and forgiveness from Miriam.

One of the privileges Roman and Omar had lost, though, was running in pack hunts.

“Uh oh,” Tyler muttered, ribbing Kristoff. “They’re about to get their hides tanned.”

Kristoff rolled his eyes but edged a little further from Roman and Omar as Sly strode toward them. All of the pack pretended to ignore where he was going, although Adrian almost looked like he’d been ready to step in front of him and speak on Roman and Omar’s behalf before he chickened out. Kristoff turned himself more fully from them so he wouldn’t be eavesdropping—but was still close enough that he could hear the conversation when Sly stopped before them.

“What are you two doing here? You know that you’re not allowed to participate in pack hunts until you can prove that you will be responsible and look after the interests of all the pack.”

Kristoff flinched at Sly’s harsh tone. He was really taking a hard line about this, wasn’t he? Well, as alpha he did have certain responsibilities. All the same, it did seem like there was something more going on there that Kristoff didn’t know about.

“It’s been months since we were allowed to participate,” Omar mumbled. “Please, Sly. I know we fucked up, but we acknowledge that, and we’ve apologized. We’re even working for Kristoff and Lucas for free to help them build their new home. We’re trying.”

“It’s not just about Lucas and Kristoff,” Sly said firmly, confirming Kristoff’s suspicions.

Kristoff folded his arms and leaned against a tree. Really, he knew that Sly would be furious at him for eavesdropping, but he couldn’t help but feel sorry for Omar and Roman. Maybe if he knew everything that was going on, he’d be able to offer some advice and help them get back to full membership in the pack. And if Sly got mad at him… well, it would be his own fault for not making sure that nobody was listening before berating the two of them.

Roman let out a huff, but his voice was pretty even when he spoke, “What if we didn’t participate in the hunt? What if we were just allowed to stay here for before and then the meal after? We miss being a part of things. I feel like we’re being kicked out slowly and I don’t like it, Sly.”

Across the clearing, Miriam looked up and waved at Kristoff. His wolf instantly rammed his ribs, wanting to run over there and just be with her. But she was busy and disappeared into the cabin once again. Kristoff glanced at Lucas, who was hanging out with a few of the other guys, and they had a quick, silent conversation—they were both keeping an eye on the boys, but they were happy playing with Brian and he was happy being the mature, responsible one for a change.

“Just give us a chance,” Omar pleaded, and Kristoff flinched—it was unusual to hear any of their wolves begging.

Kristoff sighed heavily. It was a risk, but he turned and walked over to where Sly was growling. The alpha gave him a none-too-thrilled look, but Kristoff shrugged it off. “They can’t really prove themselves if they don’t have the chance to prove themselves.”

“Mind your own business.” Sly glared at him. “I’m already giving them the chance to show they can be responsible and follow orders.”

“We can follow orders,” Roman insisted.

“Then what are you doing here when I ordered you to stay home tonight?” Sly glared at Omar and Roman, and they both dropped their heads to their chests.

Kristoff hesitated a moment, then tapped Sly’s shoulder. He had mellowed a lot since he and Chloe got together, but that didn’t mean that he wouldn’t tear a head off from time to time. Sly gave him an irritated look.

  “What?”

“There is responsibility and then there is responsibility,” Kristoff said. “And you know that I’m not the kind of person who likes to have a lot of people around. But the pack has been noticing their absence. And we’ve all been noticing that Chloe is upset with you for not letting them in.”

“Chloe has a big heart,” Sly muttered, but he cast an anxious glance at the cabin as though afraid his mate might come out and start chastising him. “Don’t get why you’re doing this, though.”

“Because I’m the last person who’d actually want them around,” Kristoff explained.

“Hey,” Omar muttered, but Roman elbowed him.

Devon leaned on one of the pillars of the porch, watching them. Lucas had joined him, and he silently asked Kristoff what he was doing.

“See?” Kristoff jerked his thumb toward them. “My partner and your partner are both wondering what the fuck I’m doing, too. So, if I’m saying that we miss these dingbats and would like to have them hanging around outside of work… well. You’re the alpha, but I’m just saying… Cutting them out of pack activities entirely is a good way to create a splinter. We miss them and it’d be great if you could start letting them back a little.”

Sly frowned at Kristoff and then back at Omar and Roman, who straightened into the military attention that they had learned so well back when they were all part of the army. Sly’s frown increased as he considered them.

“Fine, you can stick around the cabin for the night,” Sly said. Omar and Roman both grinned, but Sly wasn’t finished. “This is more than just about keeping you separate from the pack, though. I need to trust that you’ll follow orders, no matter what. So, while you’re allowed to participate in activities around the cabin, that also means that you have responsibilities.”

  “Of course,” Omar said.

Kristoff retreated, smirking to himself. He hadn’t expected that to go quite so well, but all the same, it felt nice to help out a fellow wolf.

“You two are going to be under the women’s command tonight,” Sly said. “I want you to help them out with everything. Don’t give me those looks,” he continued, snarling blackly at them. “Do you have a problem with taking orders from my mate?”

“But she’s not the alpha,” Roman whined. “And we’re not women!”

Sly shook his head and turned on his heel. “I gave you your orders. If you think you’re too good for them you can just go home until you learn not to be a couple of jackasses.”

Everybody heard that and turned to look at Omar and Roman. The two of them scowled. Roman looked about ready to turn around and walk away, but Omar stomped on his foot and moved forward. The others in the pack welcomed them in. Kristoff shook his head as he headed over to Lucas. Devon followed Sly into the cabin, and Lucas smirked as he leaned against the balcony around the porch.

“What orders did Sly give them that they’re whining about?”

“They’re supposed to help the women and apparently think it’s a threat to their masculinity or something.” Kristoff snorted as he shook his head. “Those two are something fragile sometimes, aren’t they?”

“They’re young.” Lucas shrugged, as though he was a wise old man looking down at the two pups—even though he wasn’t more than five years older than them. “And I’d feel more comfortable with a couple more wolves around while you guys are out, anyway.”

Kristoff frowned at him, asking without words why that was.

Lucas lowered his voice. “Devon told me that there have been a few strange wolves running around the other side of the mountain. Don’t know if they’re transients or if they’re looking to stir up trouble. In any case… will be nice to have someone else who knows how to fight here. Help protect the two pregnant women and six kids if something goes wrong. Without putting Miriam or Angela in a position where they think they need to fight.”

“Do you want me to stay too?”

Lucas rolled his eyes and punched his arm. “Come on, man. You’re supposed to tell me I’m being paranoid. No, I want you to go out and hunt. It’s been forever since you have, and I think it’s about time you did something fun with the pack.”

  Kristoff shrugged. “
Okay, yeah. You are being paranoid. We get stray wolves all the time. Have fun washing dishes.”

“Ass,” Lucas chuckled affectionately, shoving his shoulder.

Kristoff thought of Miriam’s ass and almost suggested they go home—almost. But she was enjoying setting everything up for the feast as well, and Tyler was right. Kristoff was looking forward to this. So he smiled, waiting for Sly to give the order for them to get out and running. In the meantime, he just enjoyed being here—it was a beautiful night, after all.

After the rest of the pack took off, running into the moonlit night, Miriam wrapped her arms around Lucas’ waist and rested her chin on his shoulder. “You could have gone with them if you wanted to.”

Lucas turned to her, a grin widening on his face. Brian had left with the others, leaving the three boys dashing all over the place and howling like they could force themselves into being wolf shifters.

“If I wanted to go with them, I would have.” He stole a quick kiss and winked at her. “I am right where I want to be, my love.”

Miriam smiled, kissing him back. “Well, then. Maybe you can help Omar and Roman figure out how to put a tablecloth on the table while I go make sure the kitchen is in order?”

Lucas laughed and twirled her out of his arms. As she disappeared into the cabin, he headed over to where Roman and Omar were struggling to get the clips over the tablecloth to hold it down. They glared at him on his approach, probably thinking he was going to mock them. As much as he wanted to do just that, he instead pointed out that they were five inches long on one side and short on the other.

“Well aren’t you just a wonderful housewife,” Roman spat, clearly bitter as Lucas helped them fix it.

“Hmm. And I thought you two were here because you wanted to earn your way back into the pack. Not act like a couple of asses who can’t do what they’ve been told to do.”
